Methodology
Use a case study with three (3) to five (5)
administrators that meet the criteria for the
study (administrator in public school and a diagnosis of
ADD)
Through qualitative analysis identify strategies
that have helped these administrators be more
effective in meeting their leadership roles as they
align with the 21 Characteristics in the McRel
study.

It is not just about attention, along with the general symptoms and characteristics of ADD, “Learning disabilities, substance abuse, mood disorders, anxiety, sleep disturbances, oppositional-defiant or conduct disorder and antisocial personal disorder are 2 to 4 times a common in people with ADHD as they are in the general population (Dodson, 2006).
PERSONAL CONNECTION
Personal experience and challenges, no knowledge of ADD diagnosis, challenges both personally and professionally, wish to give tools to prevent this as well as educate principals and superintendents
It is not just about attention, along with the general symptoms and characteristics of ADD, “Learning disabilities, substance abuse, mood disorders, anxiety, sleep disturbances, oppositional-defiant or conduct disorder and antisocial personal disorder are 2 to 4 times a common in people with ADHD as they are in the general population (Dodson, 2006).
