Communicating the organizational change plan will require change leaders to keep employees, management, and change leaders of informed during the stages of change. The Wounded Warrior project will start to implement changes, by initially establishing a communication plan throughout the organization.
We will insure that the communication within the organization is constant and consistently.
It is important that members develop and share the ideas of communication.
Move away from communicating vague messages that leave uncertainty, establish the practice of applying the 5Ws and 1H, when communicating.
The wounded warrior project uses various means of communicating with stakeholders and wounded warriors the many projects, services, and advocacy initiatives that they have undertaken. In encouraging change among the members it is essential to use all forms of available media and communication platforms to deliver the messages in regards to change.
Creating a new website that is link to the current organizational website. The new website will be used to keep individuals informed of the process of change, the expected changes, and most essentially the goals that are being attained.
Using the current media devices such as TV and Monitors to facilitate messages or bulletins for members.
Surveys online will provided feedback that can be collected and analyzed to help decision makers in making better decisions based on data.
Open blogs will help in facilitating dialogue that may reduce any perceived walls in openly communicating ideas, issues, or concerns. It will also allow for the sharing of ideas that can be useful during the change process.
The wounded warrior project relies heavily on the use of internet and intranet platforms. It is essential that test or sampling of chosen communication platforms be used to determine the effectiveness that it will have in the communication process.
An effective employee and employer are those that feel that their opinion or idea matters. Feedback is necessary in the communication process and the change agents, and change leaders will establish channels and outlets that members can provide feedback in helping the organization be successful in times of change.
Making sure everyone is informed will empower members of the organization to problem solves and create solutions when nagatvie issues arise during the change process.
Effectively applying the correct platforms to target the members of the organization during the communication process will ensure proper feedback assist in making a positive change.
