Used to Support face to face training -
The champions can encourage the adoption by reinforcing the practices by being the example on the day to day operations (might be one or two person for small organization). For larger organization, having a "Community of practice" and/or an advocacy group per department…
Challenges: Keeping it up to date is hard (the technology changes fast), finding the right champions, keeping the champions engaged and motivated, finding the time from a busy workday
Solutions: ongoing share of tips and tricks on a Yammer Group for example, outsource content updates, invest on ongoing training for champions, bonus and gifts to encourage the "employee of the month" for productivity,

Active training and passive training are good together but the optimal practice requires Workshops

That's where the rubber meets the road, we take the training and apply it to day to day operations by:
Training the champions: keeping the champions up to date with the new technology and how to update the current business practices with these new tools (Cloud technology is constantly evolving)
Horizontal by solution: (Implement one product and it's use throughout the business) and its own scenarios
Vertical by department (Implement multiple solutions for one department to map with the departmental processes)
Personas: “ enables the designer to focus on a manageable and memorable cast of characters, instead of focusing on thousands of individuals. Personas aid designers to create different designs for different kinds of people and to design for a specific somebody, rather than a generic everybody”
