4. Present Tense

Examples:
The English class meets twice a week
We catch the bus every morning.
Water freezes at zero degrees.
5. Past Tense
The simple past tense, sometimes called the preterite,
is used to talk about a completed action in a
time before now. The simple past tense sentences
use verb 2, both regular and irregular.
Examples:
My sister graduated in 2010.
They submitted the report last week.
The lab assistant gave the assignment yesterday
6. Future Tense
The simple future refers to a time later than now,
and expresses facts or certainty.The simple future
tense sentences use will/shall or to be going to
followed by verb1.
Examples:
The university will join an international competition.
Shall I introduce myself?
I'm going to pay the tuition
7. Progressive/Continuous
Progressive or Continuous form refers to something
in progress. The sentences use to be + verb ing.
Examples:
The students are reading books in the llibrary.
I was sleeping when you came last night.
Sarah will be having TOEFL test at 9 tomorrow
morning.
