Pan shot of the

Tripod and
establishing long
shot of the room will
be used to get an
idea of a key setting
and mise-en-scene.
Low key lighting to
establish Andrew’s
isolation.
no. 2 INT 3-4 SECONDS We decided not to do this
shot as we thought it wasn’t
necessary if we had close-
ups of the desk.
Shot of
computer and
desk
Close up of the
computer and desk/
zoom shot because
it emphasises the
importance of the
computer
no. 3 INT 2-3 SECONDS Good shot, made sure that
we had the assignment prop
in clear view.
Shot of the
hacker looking
menacing with
hood up.
High angle from
above the computer
screen (facing
Andrew as he types
away).
no. 7 INT 2-3 seconds We filmed it but we are not
too sure whether to use it in
the actual trailer.
2. Shot of codes
flicking on
computer
screen
Still medium shot
form behind
Andrew’s shoulder.
Slowly zoom into the
computer screen
no. 4 INT 2-3 seconds Instead of using screen
capture, we decided to shoot
a close up of the hacker
typing the code on the
screen. We fill that this would
make the shot more effective
at hinting the narrative of the
film to the audience in the
trailer.
Close up of
school work
A high angle/birds
eye view panning
shot along Andrew’s
desk
no. 5 INT 2 seconds Good, smooth shot. We did a
second attempt of this shot
which Incorporated a
panning movement.
Close up of
Cyber Shadow
Close up of Andrew
with his hood up,
low key lighting to
hide his identity. Still
shot by using a
tripod
no. 12 INT 2 seconds We filmed it but are
considering avoiding this
shot as we thought it would
give too much away and
make the teaser trailer look
less of a thriller.
2 agents facing
camera
holding phone
multiple shots
consisting of
closeups and
medium shots
no. 6 INT 3 seconds We changed it so that the
agent with the phone is
closer to the camera but
faces away. with the second
agent behind him facing at
him. this made the shot look
more realistic and helped
reduce the chance of
breaking the fourth wall. We
also changed the mise en
scene from a
Agents walking
towards
camera
low angle. medium
shot
no. 15 EXT 3 seconds We did this on a hill so that
we could get a very low
angle. The shot was
successful as it made them
look like powerful characters.
Agents running
past camera -
panning shot
long shot form
across the road
no. 8 EXT 3 seconds This shotwas very successful,
filmed it multiple times at
different parts of the chosen
road. However, it was difficultto
try and avoid cars driving past
and blocking the camera,so
3. timing was difficult.
Close up of
computer
codes
multiple close ups no. 9 INT 2 seconds We decided to do multiple
shots of the hacker typing
code on a laptop instead.
Agents burst
into room
Low-ish angle no.13 EXT/ INT 4 seconds We decided to have them
rushing in to the room with
the camera at a more neutral
angle. then we turned off the
lights at the end (which will
be used at the end of our
teaser trailer).
Phone being
turned off
medium high close
up
no.14 INT 3 seconds We came up with this shot to
be used in conjunction with
shot no. --. This will be used
to signify the idea of being
disconnected.
Agents
discussing the
documents of
the hacker
Low angled medium
shot
no. 10 INT 15 seconds We still wanted to shoot
something indoors in a
formal room, as it would help
make the mise en scene of
our trailer less repetitive. We
thought that this shot was
great as it shows the
audience what the
relationship is like between
the two agents.
Close up of
one of the
agents
crushing a
plastic cup
High angle close up no. 11 INT 5 seconds We added this shot to make
the narrative of our trailer feel
more intense towards the
audience. We were happy
with the results.
Establishing
shot of the
hackers
bedroom
low angle long shot no. 1 EXT 10 seconds We realised that we haven’t
got an establishing shot for
the beginning of our trailer.
So we filmed the exterior of
Castlefield Studio in college,
because it looks like an
ordinary family house.
