   45% parents gave their teachers an “A” for parent relationships
   88 percent of parents consider their child’s teacher a partner
   BUT…
   Only 54 percent of teachers feel that parents do their part at
   home to ensure kids the most out of classroom learning
    93% of teachers believe parents are given the opportunity to offer
   input into and participate in school events and activities,
   HOWEVER…
   25% parents say they feel shut out of the collaboration process

  1. We’re doing overall very good, but there are some clear gaps b/t parents and teachers in how we perceive each other and our participation and engagement for our kids. Goal to close the gap and PT Conference is a very powerful touch point for moving forward.
  2. VS expertise in Parent Engagement. Explain Journey. PT Conference is one Touch-point on tourist…Bigger picture of engaging parents to be advocates for their child’s education AND the School/Community overall!!
  3. Would prefer multi-day to get help with prep too. Maybe you can speak to it and add a screen shot for ‘copy’ – (if you’re committing to recurring service like helping at the food bank or mentoring program?
