1. College clubs are a big buzz of college life! Clubs
encourage students to participate in extra-
curricular activities apart from academic
excellence which is imperative in career
progression and growth.
BGI has various clubs to engage students in
various extra-curricular activities and its aims
to provide opportunities to everyone to
develop their creative abilities. Apart from
these clubs also help in enhancing leadership
skills, decision-making skills, interpersonal
skills, interactive workshops and various
activities to empower our future leaders and
managers.
2. A Committee is an organized group of people
consisting of different stakeholders formed at
the beginning of the year to conduct the major
events during the academic sessions. There is a
defined selection procedure for selecting
different committee members depending on
the objectives of the committee, student’s skills,
inclination and commitment needs.
3. This is entirely a student driven cell which is
tailor made for all the budding entrepreneurs.
The members of this cell also encourage new
ideas which can be implemented thereby
giving a boost and a platform for students to
try their hands in business and
entrepreneurship.
4. The Vision of E-Cell is to develop students’

entrepreneurship. The cell works towards

own startups. It also spreads awareness
regarding the schemes and facilities available

5. Objective:
The main objective of this committee is to train the
students and integrate the culture of entrepreneurship
and to make the students entitled to achieve their
dreams of starting their own enterprise.
Functions:

10. The Placement Committee is a team of highly
motivated and dedicated individuals who
relentlessly work for the overall institutional
goal of inviting reputed companies and
providing desired placement offers to students
based on their personal field of interest. It does
so by assisting recruiters to make appropriate
hiring decisions and at the same time
supporting the participants to make strategic
career decisions both for Summer Internships
and Final Placements.
11. It is a very common committee in every college. It
takes care of all placement related work, contacting
companies and looking for procedures for placement.
In MBA students do all this work against in
undergraduate where we see separate persons are
there to do this. This is the most important committee
as the students joining it gets a lot of benefits. Some of

13. Alumni Committee consists of a group of committed students
of the batch who act as the interface between the alumni and
the College students. It works to promote seamless
interaction with alumni and to ensure that students get all
the benefits of Alumni network. This committee is
responsible for organizing Alumni meet, Homecoming,
student mentorship and maintains the Alumni portal as well
as Facebook alumni page.
Homecoming is the annual event where we invite alums to our
campus to renew old bonds, foster new ties and relive the
magical moments all over again. We believe that building a
strong relationship with alumni is indispensable, therefore
we interact with them throughout the year. We are the
richest club on campus, but we do not act like that.
14. Objective:
The need for an Alumni Committee is to provide a
platform and an interface to serve and to promote
the mutual interests of the institution and its
alumni.
Function:
To act as a bridge between the college and the
alumni for interaction on new developments in
different disciplines
To encourage the alumni to assist the college to
promote R & D activities.
15. Responsibilities:
To maintain an up-to-date and detailed database of
the alumni
To highlight the success of alumni to improve the
credibility and reputation of the institute.
Plan and promote a platform for interaction
between all stakeholders of Bansal Institute.
Maintain healthy relationship with the alumni
body
Assist management in creating an environment in
the college which enables the students to have
lasting memories.
16. This committee is a composition of creative hearts and minds
that have flair for designing and creative writing. The team
adds value to each and every endeavor at college through
effective communication and expression. Students here get
the lessons of designing, creative writing image building,
publicizing and executing communication strategy for the
college. The overall responsibility of the team is to plan and
execute strategies for Brand Building of the Institute.
Publication of newsletters magazines and social media
presence are one of the main tasks of the committee. The
committee also handles publishing interviews and write ups
of on -campus guests, gradually moving on incorporating
articles and write-up from the industry at large. Articles &
write-ups, events coverage and photographs, budgeting,
specification, approval, printing, and distribution are the
regular activities of the committee members.
17. Management students aim to have excellent
communication skills. To ensure that they are
able to convey their message effectively, they
need to communicate properly with the other
person. Communication plays a vital role in
our everyday life with each one of us making
use of different methods of communication for
conveying our messages and for understanding
the messages of others as well.

19. “The cultural and B- School competitions
committee has a major role of spearheading all
the cultural activities of the institute. The
committee plans and organizes celebrations of
major Indian festivals such as Republic Day,
Independence Day, Holi, Ramzan Id,
Ganeshotsav, Shivaji Jayanti, Durga Puja,
Garba Night, Onam, Pongal, Lohri, Christmas
as well as occasional DJ Nights. Other than
these annual events of the B School and
cultural event of institute are organized by this
committee.
20. The Cultural Club of BGI aims to provide
opportunities to everyone to experience and
learn cultural aspects and participate in
educational programs and develop their
creative abilities. It also ensures to enhance the
artistic qualities of its members as well as other
students.
21. Objective:
To promote the inclination of students in the
line of arts, culture activities.
Functions:
The Cultural committee helps the students to
distinguish themselves apart from their
curriculum. Students are encouraged to take
part in various cultural events in college and
other colleges and showcase their talents
through various clubs/associations/national
service schemes.
22. RESPONSIBILITIES OF CULTURAL
CLUB:
To plan and schedule cultural events for the academic year.
The committee shall display on the Notice Board/Website
information about events to be celebrated.
To obtain formal permission from the College authorities to
arrange programs
To decide the date, time and agenda of the programs.
To inform members of staff and students about the events.
To invite the Chief Guest and other dignitaries.
To arrange mementos for guests and gifts/certificates for
the participants.
The committee will be responsible to keep the record of all
the above activities.
23. Social service aims at creating a positive impact on
the community by undertaking activities where
students get an opportunity to do their part for the
society. Successive batches have been taking up
activities that keeps Social services driving
forward with determination. The activities
undertaken by the team so far include: sanitation
awareness among tribal girls, clothes donation
drives, village improvement projects, plantation
drives, teaching initiatives for children in
government schools, cause related awareness
campaigns to name a few.
24. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. The
sports committee of the college consists of
sports fanatics who play almost all the sports
ranging from football to pool. They bring
together sports fanatics like them and form
teams to participate in various b-school sports
competition. They also conduct intra college
sports events and maintain the sports facilities
provided by college. Most of the colleges boast
of good sports infrastracture right from
Gymnasiums, Badminton courts, Swimming
pools and even racing tracks.
25. Sports are an integral part of overall development
of an individual. It gives sense of participation,
following rules & regulations, leading a team,
obeying orders of others coordination etc.

To promote and enhance and change the spirit

potentialities in all the phases of life.
27. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SPORTS
COMMITTEE:
To organize intra-class & inter - class sports
and games competitions at the college level to
identity talents in various sports and games
both indoor and outdoor to build a strong
college level teams to participate at the State
Level and National Level competitions.
To conduct intra-oriented- college sports
events.
Sorting out any sports related issues (team
selections, objections, quarrels etc)
To encourage the students to actively
participate in various sports and games
competitions conducted by other colleges.

32. Objective:
To create a platform where students can
discuss their problems, regarding academic

33. Functions of the Committee:
The Grievances committee deals with the grievances of teaching faculty, other
employees and the students.
The Grievance Committee hears and settles grievances within short duration, after the
grievance is lodged with the committee.
Responsibilities:
Grievances Redressal committee receives and redresses grievances reported for the
following issues:
Academic issues: pertaining to teaching learning activities.
Student’s teacher, student- student, student- parent relationship pertaining to
harassment etc.
Internal evaluation and in assessment marking.
Complaint related to library and IT services.
Grievances related to hostel, food, water, electricity, etc.
Grievance related to transport facilities.
Grievances related to sports, cultural and selection process etc.
Grievances related to women’s issues and harassment.
Grievance related to ragging
Grievances related to university examination.
Grievances related to delay in issuance of records and documents.
34. Objectives:
To create and maintain safe, healthy and
supportive environment for SC / ST staff and
students in the campus.
To address the issues of staff and students,
belonging to schedule caste / schedule tribes in the
Institute and to prevent atrocities against them.
To comply with AICTE regulations for the
establishment of the Committee for SC / ST (As
per the Scheduled Caste and the Scheduled Tribes
(prevention of Atrocities) act, 1989, No. 33 of1989,
dated 11/09/1989).
35. Responsibilities:
To look into the complaints if any received from the concerned
staff and students belonging to SC / ST.
The Social Welfare Committee functions to promote technical and
management education among BC/SC/ST students and other
weaker section of the society.
It continuously monitors and evaluates reservation policies
intended for BC/SC/STs Welfare by the Govt of M.P. and also for
the effective implementation of the same Welfare.
Monitoring qualified and eligible students to get both fee
reimbursement and scholarship.
If any student fails to get the reimbursement and scholarship,
he/she can make a compliant to Social Welfare Committee of the
college.
The committee in consultation with the scholarship clerk takes
relevant measure to ensure that every student obtains scholarship.
36. Objective:
To maintain discipline in the classroom and the college premises.
Function:
This committee monitors the students and ensures that no ragging
activity happens. Also, in the event of any indiscipline activities,
action is taken by this committee.
Responsibilities:
To ensure compliance with the provision of UGC regulation 2009
at the institute level as well as the provisions of any law for the
time being in force concerning ragging.
To monitor and oversee the performance of anti ragging squad in
prevention of ragging in the institution.
It shall be the duty of the Anti-Ragging Squad to be called upon to
make surprise raids on Canteen and other places vulnerable to
incidents and having the potential for ragging and shall be
empowered to inspect such places.
To take decisions and actions related to ragging activities of the
students in the college as and when required.
