1. Women Without Frontiers WOMEN WITHOUT FRONTIERS , is voluntary humanitarian non-governmental international organization, having its permanent seat in Rhodes island.

2. One of the main goals of the organization is to offer services to all the people who are in need wherever they are, regardless of their color or religion. However, priority is given to women and children who need our support.

3. Women and children in war zones, women and children in the developing world, women and children of immigrants, women and sick children, women and children who receive physical, psychological and sexual violence. Since the establishment of the organization, seven years ago , they managed to convince through their goals, thousands of women in Greece and abroad, committed to the development of the role of the civil society.

4. The organization’s work has two lines the international and the national one. They internationally intervene activating all of the departments and branches in times of emergencies, natural disasters, wars and other similar phenomena. Our basic principle is that aid be given as items needed or services. Only in exceptional circumstances we give money.

5. -In the devastating tsunami in South Asia a mini-surgery consisting of 50 hand tools and 40 medicines boxes was sent. -Legal, psychological support and help provision to state, regional and municipal services to battered women, immigrants, victims of trafficking. -Provision of clothing, footwear and toys to economic immigrants on a regular basis. -Informative lectures on drugs and other burning issues.

6. -Items of clothing and necessities to war zones in Iraq were sent. -Provision of equipment to schools for children with special needs. -Informative lectures on drugs and other burning issues. -Visits to prisons and gifts offer. These are only some of the work that the organization does.

7. The Objectives of the Organization indicative are the following: The culture, The protection of human peace, The accomplishment, Protecting children , The emergence, The protection of the environment.

8. Main ingredient… to be useful and beneficial to people and the local community. Main principle… the joy of giving and offering to others without expecting anything in return. But love is… is always contagious and rewarding!
