1. Locating a specific UK case on
i-law.com

2. Law Research Navigator > Select ‘i-law.com’ >
click on the hyperlink Database URL.

3. Click ‘Login’.

4. Enter libresearch@smu.edu.sg and leave the
username and password as it is.

5. The homepage on i-law.com:

6. Search by citation:
Scroll down to ‘Citation Search’ on homepage >
select ‘Lloyd’s Law Reports’ from the dropdown
menu > enter citation e.g. year 1961 volume 2 page
478 > ‘Search’.

7. Click on the desired search result.

8. To download the case:
Click on the PDF icon on the top right hand corner
and the case will download immediately.

9. Search by case name: Scroll down to
‘Law Reports
Search’ on
homepage >
select ‘Lloyd’s
Law Reports’
from the dropdown
menu > enter
name into Free
Text e.g. “the
Achilleas” >
‘Search’.

10. Search Results > select ‘Order by
Relevance’ from the dropdown menu >
click on the desired search result.
