2. THE 1453 PANORAMIC MUSEUM
The 1453 Panoramic Museum creates a three
dimensional depiction of the conquest of Istanbul by the
Ottoman Empire on 29th May 1453.
3. The 1453 Panoramic Museum was created with
the help of eight artists and offers a full panorama-
in vertical as well as horizontal order- of this
important historical battle. The domed roof is also
painted to create the illusion of a sky.
This incredibly detailed piece of artwork has
almost 10,000 detailed figures of Ottoman and
Byzantine soldiers; the same number of live
models were used in the painting process.
4. YENİKAPI MEVLEVÎHANE
(LODGE OF THE MEVLEVI DERVISHES)
One of the mile stones of the Sufism culture. It
makes only one of the merits of "Culture Island
of Zeytinburnu".
5. Abdi Ipekci Arena is a multi-purpose indoor
arena in Zeytinburnu. I t has capacity for 12,500 people
and regularly hosts concerts, sports events and congresses.
This well equipped facility has locker, press and VIP
rooms and parking.

8. BALIKLI HOLY SPRING
Ayazmas are fountains which are believed by the Christian
world to have healing powers. It has survived its
existence till today.
The real name is the Balıklı Ayazma (a sacred fountain
with fish). It s the most famed ayazma in Istanbul and it is
called as "Holy Water" by the Othodox Christian world.
9. It was one of the largest examples of Turkish-
Islamic architecture in İstanbul. It s named after
Fatih Sultan Mehmed’s conquerence of İstanbul.
