5. Channel The channel is how the message must pass. The sender decides what approach to take in order to make his message clear and effective.
6. Noise Noise is anything that may disrupt the message from being sent. Noise can happen at any point in time during the communication process.
7. Receiver The receiver is the target audience of the message. The receiver does not begin the communication process but they provide feedback to the sender. This step is crucial because here the sender knows if his message was sent successfully.
8. Decoding The receiver translates the message that was sent. Here, the receiver will interpret the message hopefully as the sender encoded it.
9. Feedback Feedback is the information that the receiver sends back to the sender. Once the sender receives the feedback he will know how clear his message was to the receiver.
