Fear strikes the town’s
people of Salem, as a local
minister’s niece is discovered
attempting to perform acts of
witchcraft along with her
fellow witches! The happening
occurred two nights ago, at late
hours approaching midnight.
The group of servants of Satan
was spotted, deep in the woods,
performing chants, dances, and
rituals intended to summon evil
spirits back from the dead. The
group included not only the
minister's niece, who is thought
to be the leader, but his
daughter and their black slave
as well. Other girls thought to
be part of it are being
investigated.
Sep. 13 1856
Reverend Paris' daughter, Betty, has fallen into a comma-like
state and has been that way since the night of the event. Reverend
Hale, a master on the topic of witchcraft has been summoned to the
scene to investigate and to aid the young girl. The reasons that
motivated the girls' actions remain unknown, but it is suspected that
it was an attempt of murder. Further investigations and prosecutions
will be performed, and the group of witches will be on trial shortly,
along with any accomplice or fellow
witch.
