Globalization of Education and Knowledge
2. Learning has truly become a lifelong
pursuit, and it can happen anytime and
anywhere in our Information age. But
how do we determine good from the
bad, interpret right from wrong, and
distinguish complete, accurate, and
usable data from a sea of irrelevance
and digital inundation.
Introduction
3. Information delivery is one of
the importance of
globalization of education and
knowledge which has helped
in opening doors for
universities to bridge the gap
in affordability and
accessibility by exporting
higher education from the
Western world to emerging
economies.
Importance of Globalization of
Education and Knowledge
4. Internet has made learning
easy in such a way that
learning can be done online.
The traditional classroom or
campus environment would
not be replaced but rather will
be enhanced by it.
Online Opportunities
5. University education has become more global, so it has become more
competitive and international. The term “globalization” represents
the international system that is shaping most societies today. It is a
process that is involves the interaction and integration of cultures,
politics, business and intellectuals around the world.
6. Today, possessing knowledge and having
the ability to use knowledge in a world-
wide arena is crucial to personal and social
advancement. Likewise, having a skilled
and globally focused workforce is perhaps
the most important ingredient to any
organization’s competitiveness in a world
where competitors can come from around
the world.
Globalization in Education
7. Euro-Asian Cooperation
Nowadays education tendencies show the
alignment of cooperation policy, primarily with the
European Union and Asia. In this regard, there is a
need to bring to the broad public wide opportunities
of application practices of Russia, to address
relevant for the Euro-Asian problems.
Bridging the technology gap between East and
West in a global perspective, we need to expand
intellectual exchange and reflect the experience of
globalization of higher education that has been
accumulated in the world.
