tml
•The author, who is not named, says medical marijuana has very
few advantages and more disadvantages
•He/she says it leads to more destructive drugs
•Patients become dependent upon it
•There are other alternatives to it (although most are more
expensive)
•The author contradicts himself many times, going back and
forth from pro to con
5. Our Opinion
Based on these two websites alone, our opinion is swayed to
the side of “pro medical marijuana”. This is mainly because the
website that is for the legal use of medical marijuana is a lot
more reliable. The author has a link to his email account as
well as his person site from Michigan State University. And all
the information he provides is cited with links on the
bottom, which lead to more reliable sources.
However the anti medical marijuana website doesn’t even list
their author. Its arguments are very thin with not a lot of
evidence to back it up. And the websites at the bottom which
are supposed to be citations, lead to deactivated websites.
This to us is very unreliable and therefore site one is more
reliable than site two.
