Skills. This we developed by
a group of educators led by
Benjamin Bloom in 1956.

LOTS or Lower Order Thinking
Skills . It is characterized by
memorization or categorization
5. Elements of HOTS
Synthesizing – combining various elements to form
a whole
Analyzing – separating parts and examining its
interrelations
Reasoning- a thought offered in support of an
opinion
Comprehending-capacity to perceive or understand
Application- employment of means to accomplish
an end
Evaluating-examine and judge carefully
6. HOTS Environment
Person-oriented
Open expression of ideas
Motivating
Positive interaction
7. Aside from employees, who else uses
HOTS?
Originally, it was designed by
teachers for students
HOTS is being used by elementary
students
HOTS is also being applied by some
parents
HiMAS shall gradually implement
HOTS in the classrooms

Superiors shall challenge
