The term derives from "hip " , an English adjective
used since the 1940s in the sense of " cool " or "
innovative" , referring to rich white youth who imitated
the style of Black Jazz.
In the 2000s , the word came to classify a group of
people aged between 15 and 25 years , usually
middle class , wearing a mixture of modern clothes
and vintage style , composing an original look.

3. To create the extravagant style , hipsters rescued some
old accessories like fedoras and wayfarer sunglasses
style. Skinny pants with polka dots and some with
checkered patterns are clothes that stand out. They
also like buying second hand clothes. Jumpers are a
must have in their closet.

6. Hipsters love to hear Tom Waitts, Artic Monkeys,
Bob Dylan and alternative rock bands. They also
like icons as The Bleatles. This group of people are
really into culture: they like watching old movies
and love going to fairs and other items of clothing
resale , art galleries and museums.
They are also really concerned about
environmental problems and most of them are
vegetarian.
British culture is essential. As you'll see later, they
can also imitate British accent to look 'cooler'.

global coffee company
called Starbucks, and have
all the newer technology of
Apple, including iPad and
iPhone, what makes
contradict themselves, they
are against unbridled
capitalism.
Some people consider
hipster culture as stupid or
ridiculous, other have a
really good opinion about
them.
