considered clinically significant.
Conclusion – similar precision in landmark
identification in both conventional and digital

Results – demonstrated that direct digital
cephalometry cuts the patients dose by half
when compared with the conventional
cephalometric tracing.

• Reproducibility of cephalometric radiographs on
conventional film,hardcopy and monitor displayed
images by storage phosphor technique.

Conclusion – the reproducibility of cephalometric
landmarks on film,hard copy and monitor based
images for 11 of 21 landmarks.
Overall reproducibility of a full ceph recording for
the monitor displayed image than the film or
