2. How old are you?
1) This question asks how old the user is, this
clearly shows that a prominent amount of my
readers are 12-17 and not many are 11 or
below, or 18 or above. As around 62% of my
readers will be between that age, and about
36% are 11- or 18+. This question was
skipped by one person.
3. Gender?
1 This question asks their gender, from the data
analysis it is clear that a prominent amount of my
readers are female, as 62.50% of them are
female. This indicates to me that I should use
more feminine colours, but not articles, as I still
want to appeal to both genders. One person
skipped.
4. What things would you like to see in the school
magazine?
1 These results clearly show that most of my
audience are interested in viewing grades and
sports. This means that most of my magazine will
be focused on sports and grades, I will mix the
others in however, but the most prominent will be
these. As 64% want to see these. However, one
person skipped.
5. What should the most prominent colour for the
magazine be?
These results clearly show that red is the colour
that most people want to see, as over 44% want to
see red as the main colour, and a very small
percentage on the other colours. This clearly
indicates to me that I should have red as my main
colour.
6. How much would you pay for a school magazine?
These results show me a clear trend, they show
me that most people would spend 50p-99p, and
not many would pay above that amount, or
below for that matter. Over 50% want it to be
them prices. So obviously I will keep my price
relevant to this.
7. What would you want to see on the front of the
magazine?
Most people would want to see students on the
front of the magazine, although, article titles was
a close second. over 40% want to see students
on the front. So I will abide by this and put
familiar students on the front so most people can
have some familiarity.
8. What do you want it to be called?
Most people, (33%) want to see the magazine be
called Archie's Weekly, since there can only be
one title, I will just abide by popular demand and
call it this without looking at the other results, as
there can only be one title.
9. How long do want it to be, relevant to your pricing?
On this question, it was close, but most people, at
33%, want to see it at 6-10 pages. However, quite
a few, 29%, want to see it a bit longer at 11-15
pages. This will indicate to me I will keep it within
the threshold of around 6-15 pages, with no more
or no less.
10. What do you enjoy about school?
From this, I have gathered that at 54% and 41%,
people enjoy the atmosphere and friends most in
school, and not so much lessons. I will not use
nothing, as I will not be able to write anything
about it, it was just there as an extra option. It
indicates to me, I will keep my magazine on the
social side, and put gossip, friends and school
atmosphere inside of it.
11. What is your favorite subject?
From this, it is clear that most subjects evened
out at about the same, the only clear winner is
computing at just under 30%, this indicates to me
I will put a lot of computing inside the magazine, if
I am writing about subjects, I will write about other
subjects to appeal to everything, but computing
will be the main one.
