1. Using PhotoShop This is a screenshot from one of my magazine layouts. As you can see it take many layers of work and text etc to make the end product. There’s also many tools available to use. Also you can have more the one piece of work open in the same window which is really useful.
2. This was the main tool I used to edit my photos to make the models look more tanned etc. I used the saturation to make the models look more tanned and it also improved the other colours within the image. This is how I converted my contents page image to black and white.
3. The Colour Replacement Tool was really helpful because it allowed me to change colours of certain things very easy. For example the stripes on the shorts weren’t as red in the original image, so to make it a more vibrant red I used the Colour Replacement Tool to do so. The Eyedropper Tool is useful when you want to make two things the same colour but using a colour from the image. The Horizontal Type Tool is used for when I want to add text into my work. For example on contents page of my magazine there was a lot of text, and by using this tool I was able to add text over the image without completely covering it up.
4. Using Blogger I used Blogger to monitor my progress through out the project. By using this I could upload pictures and notes and everything I planned to do for this project. This is where you create and upload your posts.
5. Here is a screenshot of my blog and as you can I have uploaded all my work to record my progress. You can sign in and out of your blog which make it more private and personal. As you can I have personalised my blog by giving it a different background, changing the font, changing the colour of the font and also I can control the layout of my blog.
6. Using Slide share I used slide share to upload all my power points which was really helpful because I could make notes on all my photos and then upload them all up together. To create slide share I had to make my own account and then I when I wanted to upload my power points I just signed into slide share.
7. Slideshare also keeps all your previous uploads so you can return and view them. When uploading slideshows you can see that you get two options of how to upload your work, if you upload it publicly you can then copy it onto your blog. The only thing that is not very good on Slideshare is that sometimes it takes really long to upload your work.
