2. This one-day National Conference will focus on our youngest Service
Children (birth – 7 years) and their families. It will focus on:
The perspectives of parents.
Early childhood development and well-being and the implications for
Service Children.
Supporting Service Children within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Developing an understanding of the impact of loss and grief on young
children.
Share good early years practice.
Examine how early years practitioners, schools, settings, local authorities
and other professionals can support them effectively at times of
transition and separation.
