This document outlines the expectations and procedures for a 5th grade general music class taught by Miss Amatuzzo. It includes details about entering the classroom, bringing necessary materials like pencils, participating in bell ringers and activities on the classroom Canvas page, and expectations around respectful behavior, participation, and handling of instruments and other materials. The document also provides an overview of how students will be graded on participation, behavior, homework, projects, and tests/quizzes. Students are assigned homework to think about their favorite media and to create a quirky character to bring to the next class.
6. Protocol
Enter and find your assigned seat
immediately.
Look at board to see if there is a
Bell Ringer; if you are asked to grab a
book to start, they are in the back of
the room.
Our Agenda will always be displayed
on the board.
7. Protocol
(yep, there’s more...)
Put away all unnecessary items (ex. candy,
homework, gym clothes, small rodents, golf
clubs, jugs of milk, doughnuts....)
If you are asked to use an instrument, please
make sure to put it back when you are finished.
And...
I am the bell....muah ha ha ha!
8. Expectations
Raise your hand if you would like to
speak; please do not talk while I am
talking.
Treat surroundings/peers/materials
with respect.
PARTICIPATION is key!
Group work is necessary: you must
work together.
Pencils: always bring them!
14. For next time...
I want you to go home and think
about your favorite food/movie/
song/band/TV show. Think about
WHY you like them, and more
importantly, why you DON’T like
other things.
Specifically...what is your all-time
favorite song?

23. For next time...
I want you to create a character
to bring in next class.
Go home and have a conversation
with your parents as this

Make them quirky and awesome.
