Solution:
Since it’s less than 1000, our number may have two or three digits.
For two digits, the numbers that meet the condition are: 49, 58, 67, 76, 85, 94. A
total of 6 numbers.

4𝑥9, 5𝑥8, 6𝑥7, 7𝑥6, 8𝑥5, 9𝑥4 where 𝑥 can be 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

to Point Y is 25𝑎 ∶ 𝑥, which mean the ratio of the speed is 25𝑎 ∶ 𝑥.
As they are traveling in steady speed, 𝑎 ∶ 𝑥 = 𝑥 ∶ 25𝑎 ⇒ 𝑥2 = 25𝑎2 ⇒ 𝑥 = 5𝑎
