Fishy’s Story
Once upon a time there was a fish names Fishy. Fishy was large Goldfish who loved to
swim around in his bowl, eat his fish food, and mess with his other fish friends. You see, Fishy
shared a bowl with 4 other goldfish. Sam, Jack, Jim, and Phil. However, Sam, Jack, Jim and Phil
didn’t like Fishy all that much. He was too big for their bowl and made them all feel cramped.
They also thought Fished was annoying because he never stopped talking, and he ate all of the
food.
So, one day Sam, Jack, Jim, and Phil decided to kick Fishy out of the bowl. Their
neighbor fishes, the Scott’s, all just moved away so their bowl was empty. That night they told
Fishy he had to go. This upset Fishy, he felt betrayed by his friends and began to cry. He jumped
from his bowl to his new bowl before his friends could say anything else to hurt his feelings even
more.
In his new bowl, Fishy was lonely. He didn’t swim around anymore, or eat all of his
food, or talk anymore. He just floated around in his big empty bowl and watched his friends in
his old bowl. But, his friends soon discovered that they missed Fishy. They didn’t have anyone
to laugh with, or swim with, and have eating contests with anymore. So, one night Sam, Jack,
Jim, and Phil got together one night and all agreed to ask Fishy to come back to their bowl.
Before anymore time could be wasted, they swam over to the glass next to Fishy’s bowl and
yelled for him. Fishy heard his friends calling him and got so excited, he swam over to the glass
2. next to them and listened to what they had to say. Sam, Jack, Jim, and Phil explained to Fishy
that they made a mistake and they missed him and wanted him to come back home. With that,
Fishy backed up to the far side of his bowl, swam forward really fast, and leaped out of his bowl.
A second later, Fishy was back in his old bowl with his friends and he couldn’t be happier.
