2. I hate myself for being so insecure.
I’m always comparing myself to my friends
family, and even strangers.
“Why can’t I have flawless skin like her?”
“Why can’t I be as toned?”
“Why can’t I have gorgeous hair like that?”
3. Why this, why that. It brings me down
every day.
People notice better looking people more.
I constantly have to do something to stand
out from the rest because of my
insecurities create the need to having to
compete even over simple things.
4. To be insecure is to lack confidence
or trust, whether in ourselves or
someone else.
Insecure about what can you
do?
5. Another cause of feelings of
insecurity is reliance on wealth
and possessions instead of God.
Insecure about your status, wealth
and career.
7. Actions:
Accept who you are. Be PROUD!
Gain confidence.
TALK and don’t hide. HE will LISTEN.
Be Prepared.
Be HAPPY!
TRUST GOD.
8. Conclusions:
True security comes when you
recognize that “God will supply every
need of yours according to His riches in
glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).
When struggling with feelings of
insecurity, never forget God’s promise:
“You will keep in perfect peace those
whose minds are steadfast, because
they trust in you.” (Isaiah 26:3).
