Titled: I LOVE TY

The work experience week will consist of workshops, talks &
presentations with current 3rd level students and lecturers of art,
design & media education.

Transition Year Work Experience Week
The week's activities will include:
Art, design and media workshops in which you get stuck in and be creative.
(The outcome of these workshops might be useful if putting a portfolio
together)
Meet the students and learn from them by getting to share their portfolio
experience with them; view some of their projects and finally get advice
from them on how to do it yourself.
Find out more about the history and culture of art, design and media.
Get an insight into all the programmes available in the Crawford, provided
by the Heads of Department.
Join the dots … do drawing, photography, graphic design, print and motion
graphics projects under the theme … LOVE what you do.
A final exhibition of the week’s work will be displayed in the College.
11. School of Business
Students from our Business Degree, Business Administration
Degree and International Business Degree are working very
hard on designing an inclusive strategy for Dell
Technologies.
Students will present their final project work at a
networking event in CIT in early December to members of
the DELL/EMC Diversity team including their Head of
Diversity and Inclusion, EMEA.
12. BSc in Agriculture - CR010
Programme running in CIT for nearly 20 years
Run jointly with Teagasc and Clonakilty Agricultural College
The course develops farming, business and management
skills to enable graduates to follow careers as successful
commercial farmers or work in the agri-business sector.
Second Year – Mandatory Placement - New Zealand,
Australia, UK and USA
Potential Areas of Employment: Farm Manager, Agricultural
Consultant or Advisor, Sales Representative, Retail
