Introduction
1. Online examination is a new technique to conduct an examination
through internet.
2. Candidate is given a limited time to answer the question and after the
time expiry the answer paper is disabled automatically.
3. The test questions are multiple-choice format, the questions are chosen
at random.
4. Examination has multiple features such as Add, Delete, Update Topics
and
Question.
3. Why Online Examination
General problem with time for students
Flexible
Time saver
Security
Develop a system which allows the faculty to create
,modify and store questions to form sections and these
sections can be grouped together to from
tests/Examinations

Statement of problems
• The current examination system is very time consuming.
• The chances of paper leakage are more in current system as
compared to proposed system.
• Result processing takes more time as it is done manually.
•Involves lot of paper work and chances of error are high.
5. 08/13/15 09:11 AMM.Ed. ICT-III semester 5
Objective
•Being an integrated Online Examination system it will reduce paper
work .
•To allow faculty to give addition time to student with disabilities.
•The result will be shown immediately to the participating students

Scope
This can be used in educational intuitions as well as in corporate
Can be used anywhere anytime as it is a web based
applications(user Location doesn’t matter).
No restriction that examiner has to be present when the
candidate takes the test .
Design to facilitate Administration and User.

Methodologies
This Project Follows the Waterfall Model
Waterfall Modal or Linear Sequential Development Model for
Software.
a.This model is used only when the requirements are very well
known, clear and fix.
b.Technology is understood.
c.Sample resources with required expertise are available freely.

Data collection methods
We have gathered information in different ways:
I. Primary data sources
By interviewing and by analyzing the real problem in the system and
the proposed system solution.
I. Secondary data sources
Relevant report, document and website in the organization.

Testing tools and techniques
Testing is defined as being narrowly confined to testing the program code
which is a process of locating and fixing errors.
There are two types of testing.
White Box testing: Software developers are responsible for such testing.
Black Box testing: Independent third parties are responsible for testing. As
independent third parties are responsible the black box testing is done in
this project.

Delimitation
1. The Fees is not taken manually as there is only module for
online payment.
2. The Total marks is get by the student only after some time
of exam, because in case of subjective paper, the exam dept
will evaluate the answer and declare the result. Student can
see his result on internet through his Login Id and PWD only after that.

Project timeline (Gantt chart)
A Gantt chart, commonly used in project management,
is one of the most popular and useful ways of showing
activities (tasks or events) displayed against time.
