Learning Hakka Culture is important for us because we have lived together for more than 100 years. If we don't respect them, we may have conflicts with each other in the future. In order to bring our different cultural groups closer together, we want to explore and investigate: Who are they? Where do they come from? What do they do? In this project, we are going to introduce the origin of Hakka culture, food, traditional clothing, their rituals and religious values and more…

Hakka people use all kinds of processed pickled vegetables as ingredients for their recipes. One of the most famous of Hakka dishes is Kiu Nyuk… (?)
There are two types of Huat Kueh. One type uses wheat flour, the other type uses rice flour. The steamed rice flour cake was made because the cake can be kept longer and won’t become bad due to its simple ingredients.
Blue shirts have a very simple style. The shirts are worn loose and don’t show the curves of the body. The front piece opens to the right, and the cuffs fold as a pocket. There are no heavy decorations on the shirts.

Most of the Hakka people made a living by extracting oil from Tung tree seeds, used the flowers as food ingredients, and the wood as raw materials. Today Hakka people still cherish the good things that Tung trees have given them in the past.
