Mixin Classes in Odoo 17 How to Extend Models Using Mixin Classes
Peter Godley midterm reflection
1.
2. • I found the Functional Outline to be very
informative and useful throughout this course. It
really seems like a backbone of the writing
structure.
• In almost every assignment we have had I have
found myself going back and using this to help
keep my writing structured.
• I have already used this in my job, I realized the
way I have been going about my memos was
unstructured and unprofessional. Thankfully with
this I will be better trained for the future.
3. • The first time I read the 5 C’s I thought they could apply to life
just as much as grading.
• I used the 5 C’s especially in the Memo to One Campus, One
Book Committee in WA2.
• I see myself using the 5 C’s the most frequently in the future, I
often think back to them now when writing in other courses
as well.
4. • In chapter 1 we are taught the Writing Process which
consists of Preparation, Research, Organization,
Writing and Revising.
• I found the portion on your audience to be very
interesting. Previously I had never held my audience
in account much to my writing.
• This chapter really enhanced my knowledge and way
I go about writing. I never realized writing was so
deep and structured.
5. • In our Analysis Assignment 1, we really got to
see part of Chapter 1 in the real world.
• The styles of both Flight attendant crews
really shows how people are adjusting to meet
their audiences needs and surpass them.
6. • Out of all the chapters we have covered so far, I
was able to connect with this the most.
• Working in an office, I come across these
technologies and applications daily. Being taught
properly how to handle them has improved my
skills greatly
• The “Writing for the Web” article, has helped me
in other courses I am taking which required me to
create a website. With the knowledge I gained
through this chapter, I was able to apply it in a
useful and successful manner.
7. • As far as information that we will take away from this course and
use in our future, I believe that this chapter will be the most
valuable for my peers.
• In all of my years of education, I have never been taught how to
properly communicate in the business world until now.
• I liked how in depth it went into each correspondence. From how
your emails should be formatted , to what the proper way to open
and close business letters.
• Learning this is very significant for our futures, so many people are
lacking these communication skills in the world right now. Having
this training will be clutch.
8. • This chapter really taught me that each writer has a style. I
never really considered myself to have a style of writing so it
was interesting to me to see what style I tend to write in.
• I was surprised by how many styles there were and how
greatly they could affect your writing.
• The section on Sentence Variety taught me a lot about my
own writing and how I need to be more aware of my
sentences length and word order.
• I think this chapter adds a lot of substantial quality to the
course. It really explores how your style comes off and is
analyzed by the reader, which previously I did not give much
thought to
9. • Throughout this chapter I learned just how big of a
difference design and visuals can have on a
presentation or document.
• I personally was intrigued by all of the different types
of visual charts. I would have previously never though
to include half of those in a business presentation.
• I have already begun using this in my own career. Being
in sales anything I can add to a proposal that
differentiates me from the competitors is huge. This is
something that will without a doubt add value to my
life and career .
10. • In Analysis Assignment 2, we really get to see chapter 7
first hand. With analyzing the designs and visuals of
major sites.
• I found this to be a real eye opener to myself, I
personally am aspiring to be a business owner and I did
not realize how big of an impact your websites design
and visuals have to their audience. Especially firs time
viewers.
• This really gave me a new perspective at how I look at
websites and the quality I will demand in my future
endeavors.
