• About Qutb Minar
• Designated :- In 1993
• It was built by Qutub-ul-din-Aibak
• The Minar is made of red sandstone covered with
intricate carvings and verses from the Qur'an.
• At the foot of the tower is the Quwwat-ul-Islam
Mosque, the first mosque to be built in India.
• This is the first Indian Monument to have an E-
ticket facility.
• Located in Delhi –Qutub Minar is the second
Tallest Minar in India. closest station Delhi Metro.

The Red FORT was the residence of the Mughal emperors of india for nearly 200 years, until 1857.It is

The Red Fort was built as a fortified palace of Shahjahanabad, capital of the fifth Mughal Emperor Shah
Jahan, in 1648. Named for its massive enclosing walls of red sandstone,it is adjacent to the older
