AIM OF SUPERVISION PRESENTATION
 Make an action plan for student teaching using TGFU.
 Discuss ways in which I expect to be supervised.
 Outlooks on student teaching
 Elaborate on how the reflective process will enhance
my teaching.
PLAN OF ACTION
 Discuss the plan of attack with cooperating teacher
 Develop unit/lesson plans
 Set reachable goals for students
 Delivery the information in a way that meets student needs
 Reflect on teaching

WHY USE REFLECTION?
Teaching is a complex and dilemma-ridden endeavor. We use
reflection to deal with the uncertainties that occur and effect the
lives of our students everyday. There is a vast amount of diversity in
todays classroom, as teachers we need to meet the needs of all
individuals.

 Reflective writing
 Collaboration with other professionals
 Feedback
 Video analysis
 Post teaching reflection
POST TEACHING REFLECTIVE ANALYSIS
Reflection-on-action: I will reflect on lessons daily following this
process.
 Self reflection
 Discussion with cooperating teaching
 Teaching the lesson several times to enhance quality
 Submit work to Dr. Harvey
STUDENT TEACHING OUTLOOK
 Effectively collaborate with others
 Learn more about my individual values and goals
 Deeper awareness of student needs and community needs
 Develop strategies and techniques to better my teaching
