The Ainu was a kind of people who
                    doesn’t hunt,instead they plant! The
only thing they hunted is bears. They
thought bears taste so good, that they
                 couldn’t stop hunting them. Although,the
Ainu felt sorry for the bears. The Ainu
liked to plant fruits and vegetable. They
got the seeds from the foods they eat.

The Ainu didn’t discover electricity for along time,so

Living

Some Ainu lived in a village near water. The village
were called the kotan. The kotan was small with only
four to seven families in each village. But most of the
Ainu lived in a same type of house as Japanese people.
The lived in a tall apartment building.

Clothing
The Ainu made their clothes out of
                            plants and animals. They used
animal’s skins and feathers to make
lightweight robes and shoes. They used
animal’s furs to make warm clothes. The
most important part of their clothing
was a robe, like the kimonos have.
