This document discusses different types of stairs. It defines stairs as a system of steps used to move between levels of a building. Various stair terminology is introduced like baluster, handrail, and newel post. Straight stairs are described as the simplest type where all steps lead in one direction and may include one or more flights. Advantages of straight stairs include affordability, simplicity, safety, and ease of construction while disadvantages can be a lack of privacy and risk of injury. Different stair types like straight, winding and spiral are briefly outlined.

There are different types of staircases including straight stairs, turning stairs, quarter turn stairs, half turn stairs, continuous stairs, and bifurcated stairs.
Staircases are an important building element used to safely facilitate movement between levels. Regulations specify requirements for staircase dimensions including tread and riser sizes, headroom, handrails, and barrier heights to prevent injuries. Staircase design also considers universal access with specifications like consistent tread sizes, non-slip surfaces, and tactile flooring to enable use by all people. Various styles of staircases have been used through history and across architectural movements to reflect the prevailing design philosophies of different time periods and cultures.
Staircase: My teaching for 1st Year B.ArchitectureHILLFORT
Staircase is an amazing discovery by human. This is one of the major building elements to be learnt by the students of Architecture and interior designing in the very initial stage of their academic life. We, before starting the topic in classroom with a blackboard, try to give an overall idea about the design of staircase, it's technical terms, elements and uses. Hence, my this presentation might be useful for other colleges and students too.

The document discusses the benefits of exercise for mental health. Regular physical activity can help reduce anxiety and depression and improve mood and cognitive function. Exercise causes chemical changes in the brain that may help protect against mental illness and improve symptoms.
1. Dans la ville de Santa Fé située
au Nouveau-Mexique aux États-
Unis, il existe un mystère vieux
de plus de 130 ans qui attire
chaque année plus de 250 000
visiteurs. Le pôle d’attraction est
la chapelle Loretto.
6. Il a construit tout seul
l’escalier qui est
considéré comme un
joyau d’ébénisterie.
7. Personne ne peut expliquer
comment cet escalier peut se
supporter parce qu’il n’y a aucun
support au centre.
l’homme demeure toujours
inconnue.
12. Le second mystère : tous les
ingénieurs, architectes ou
scientistes disent qu’ils ne
peuvent expliquer comment
cet escalier peut tenir debout,
n’ayant aucun support central.
13. Et pour le troisième mystère : où
a-t-il pris le bois puisque le bois
utilisé pour construire l’escalier
n’existe pas dans cette région?
14. Un autre détail qui augmente la
croyance en un miracle :
l’escalier compte 33 marches,
soit l’âge du Christ.
