2. LOCKDOWN : Positive v/s Negative
As India is facing the exceptional challenges of stopping COVID-19 from
spreading further,the nation shows tremendous unity and patience. When all
this is started, the lockdown seemed an impossible task, more so in this
country. But the way people are showing there solidarity and patience is just
meritorious.
Lockdown 1.0 and 2.0 is comparatively more successful than lockdown 3.0
reason being people are very conscious and panic about the circumstances and
current situation as the lockdown is continuously extended by the
government. Government is showing their under capability to fight against the
novel corona virus and keep extending the lockdown again and again.
This lockdown have both positive and negative effect let’s have a look the both
side of lockdown :-
Positive Effect
 Lockdown will help in controlling the number of cases.
 People are spending moretime with their loved ones, families also have
more time to do fun stuff together like play board games, cook food, do
art and much more interesting things. This time together is a great way
to relieve stress and improvemental health.
 We can learn or improvethe skills in this lockdown by learning new
things as most of the us did in the lockdown.
 People are spending moretime on the things which they like to do but
can’t do it due to busy schedule,like cocking, painting, singing, dancing
etc.
 Due to lockdown air pollution suddenly dropped all over the world.

3. This is one of the major positive effect of lockdown on environment.
Decreasein green house effect gases .
 River and water is clean once again becausethe tourism is being
stopped no one can step out from their home. When the massive
number of tourist visitthe beaches, they pollute the seawater by
spreading garbage, swimming, and motor boats. But due to the
lockdown all the tourismis being stop all of the sudden that help in
reducing water pollution.
 Hence due to lockdown now weare not supposed to wakeup early to go
to school, college or office, we can get little more sleep. Even an extra
hour of sleep could mean seven hours instead of six , which makes a big
difference to our health.
 As most of us are so used to have fastfood and meals in restaurants or
in hotel but now because Most of the restaurants and delivery services
have stopped, we are left with only option of home cooked food.
 Working out in home to kill boredom which keep them fit as well. As we
have more time left with us we definitely gain some weight and to be fit
we cant go to gym in this lockdown hence we haveto do it in home
itself.

4. Negative Effect
 Economic crises is the one of the major negative point of lockdown, all
the work is on halt. The schools, college, industries, and airlines all the
things are temporarily stopped. All these things cause the huge
economic loss in all over the world.
 Increasethe useof domestic energy due to lockdown. As all were stuck
at home, and working from home which leads to rapidly growth in
consumption of domestic energy. This also become one of the major
effect of lockdown on environment.
 Students are facing trouble in learning employee are facing problem in
doing their work, efficiency of all the technical work is decrease due to
this lockdown.
 There are people who stuck in another cities far from their homes , don’t
have food, no shelter , facing financial problem . they spend their time in
lockdown alone and researches says that“spending more time alone has
a strongly negative impact on happiness” .
 This lockdown is making people more lazy and frustrated, becauseof the
boredom people starthaving irritation and startlosing their patience,
lockdown also increase the case of domestic violence because of this.
 Because of lockdown mostof the people lose their jobs as per the
estimation this number of losing jobs is going to increasein future, the
daily wage worker facetoo many problem due to lack of finance.

5. Lockdown have both negative and positive impact
The lockdown is keep extended because of some people who are not
cooperating with the government and their guidelines. The another reason of
extended lockdown is the incapability of government to control the spreading
of corona virus. Lockdown teach us to respect the environment being united to
fight against the virus.
If we properly use our time in this lockdown instead of just being lazy it can be
the time where we can learn so many thing and can improve our skills.
But the problem with lockdown is youth is busy all day in social media , and kill
their time in scrolling meme, and chatting . we have to spend time with our
family and play games with them instead of being online 24x7.
We are doing something which is so weird we just try to cook food, draw
something, dance or prepare any craft so that we can upload a picture of it on
social and waste our time in counting of likes and comment , we are just
sharing some nonsense challenge with our friend and telling them to nominate
their friend further. This thing is good for some extent but some people
indulge so into it. We have to keep check on our self that we are controlling
social media don’t let this social media control us.
We have to spend more time with family and doing productive things and
utilize this lockdown instead of playing mobile game, scrolling feeds, chatting.
