Pre-test WORK HUNT LM pp 259 Conduct individual research on the positive impact of health initiatives to different regions around the world Ask students to form 4-5 groups for Interpretative dance Ask students to form 3-4 groups and make a HEALTH INFOMERCIAL B. Purpose of the Lesson To know the significance of global health initiatives To describe global health initiatives positively impact people's health in various countries To plan an interpretative dance of a a specific health issue, concern or trend To make an infomercial that is creative and informative C. Presenting examples/instances of the new lesson. Discuss the global health and the millennium development goals Mention 3-5 countries in the region and some of their national health initiatives Perform interpretative dance Refer to short documents produced by television D. Discussing new concepts and practicing new skills #1. Answer Activity 2 WHAT IF LM pp 265 Describe the trend of global infection and deaths due to HIV/AIDS from 2001-2012 Use relevant music ( canned or live) for the dance interpretation Let the students plan a photo exhibit of the different health issues, concerns and trends E.
