INTRODUCTION
Select CITYWALK is a 1.3
million sq. ft. air-conditioned,
vibrant and upscale destination
shopping centre.This is a part of
an overall complex of 54 acres
that comprises of three floors of
office space, India’s first Six-
Screen, two Gold Class and four
Premier Class PVR Cinemas, and
approx. 1 lakh sq. ft. of Serviced
Apartments. It is centrepiece of
54-acre, well planned business
district. It is an interesting hybrid
of a European high street and an
enclosed shopping mall, with a
240m facade overlooking a
100,000 square foot of outdoor
plaza and 4-acre landscaped park.

acres and includes a multiplex,
serviced apartments, offices and
public spaces.
The planning of the select citywalk
mall is divided into 4 categorization-
1. Family & tradition space
2. Celebration (centre-sage)
3. High-voltage (youth)
4. Open plaza/ Landscaped area
(ground floor)

FOUNTAIN PLAYS AVERY IMPORTANT
ROLE IN CATCHING THE EYES OF

sprinklers, Fire hose reel, Fire extinguishers were present

• Well outlined loading-unloading areas in the basements are
provided.
• Car wash facility is given in basement.

through shaft.
• There were 3 separate areas, which were dividing the waste
into different categories.

• Comprises of 4 acres of outdoor
open plaza, for art exhibitions &
performances.
• Landscaped plaza of 8992 sq. meters.
• An OAT, with a capacity of 200+
people.
• Statues & Sculptures were placed all
around the landscaping.
• Flooring: Marble, Granite Slabs,
VitrifiedTiles .
• Sitting spaces is created all over the
landscaped area.

• More use of pots for plants.And are placed in almost all the floors to be energy-
efficient building.
• Terrace garden is being used as outooor seating for the cafe situated on the
second floor.
• Mainly stone wooden, and aluminum furniture is used.
• Seating spaces created all around the open spaces
outside the mall
• This plaza provides a pleasant and sitting for rest,
relaxation .

pathways extending into 4 acres of green space.
• Special features – open air theatres, water bodies, fountain and
breathtaking landscaping.

• The placement of the entry to the
basement is such that it also acts as drop-
off without hindering the entry to the

the rear side which also acts as surface

CONNECTS MALL AND MULTIPLEX BUILDING.

• TICKETS FOR CINEMA CAN BE PURCHASED FROM GROUND FLOOR &

INTRODUCTION Select CITYWALK is a 1.3 million sq. ft. air-conditioned, vibrant and upscale destination shopping centre.This is a part of an overall complex of 54 acres that comprises of three floors of office space, India’s first Six- Screen, two Gold Class and four Premier Class PVR Cinemas, and approx. 1 lakh sq. ft. of Serviced Apartments. It is centrepiece of 54-acre, well planned business district. It is an interesting hybrid of a European high street and an enclosed shopping mall, with a 240m facade overlooking a 100,000 square foot of outdoor plaza and 4-acre landscaped park.

The planning of the select citywalk mall is divided into 4 categorization- 1. Family & tradition space 2. Celebration (centre-sage) 3. High-voltage (youth) 4. ELEMENTS REMINISCENT OFVERNACULAR ARCHITECTURE LIKE THE FREE-STANDING WALLS OF JANTAR- MANTAR, FOUNTAIN PLAYS AVERY IMPORTANT ROLE IN CATCHING THE EYES OF THE SHOPPERS TO STOP BY IT AND SPEND SOME TIME AROUND IT. AT THE UPPER LEVEL ON THE FRONT FACADE, SPACE HAS BEEN PROVIDED FOR ADVERTISEMENTS WHICH ARE VISIBLE FROM A DISTANCE GOVERNING THE EXTERNAL ELEVATION. PARKING • 1200 cars can be parked in 3 different floors of basement at one time. • Basement 1- Offices, Parking for 370 cars, Loading & unloading area, Garbage disposal area • Basement 2- Parking 470 cars • Basement 3- Parking 270 cars • Basement height- 3.5m • Grid 6x6m • BASEMENTS = 41578.5 sq.m (3 LVLS) • There were two separate entries which were connecting to the parking, from ground floor. • One was used for general entry of cars & The other was used by service vehicles. Ramp within basement, connecting one floor of basement to another. Before entering to the mall from basement, security barrier has to be crossed over Parking to mall entry Basement parking 7m wide driveway

BASEMENT • There were 4 lifts which were connecting basement to upper floors. • Toilets and locker rooms Provided for the drivers. • Signage are clearly marked in the basement. • Throughout the basement, fire fighting equipment 's like sprinklers, Fire hose reel, Fire extinguishers were present Basements are used for car parking • Well outlined loading-unloading areas in the basements are provided. • Car wash facility is given in basement. BASEMENT SERVICES • It includes • Fire fighting equipment's • Loading & unloading area • Garbage Collection area • HVAC Equipment • The waste from restaurants was collected in basement, through shaft. • There were 3 separate areas, which were dividing the waste into different categories. • After separation, waste is dispose of through garbage trucks.
