THE ADULT PROGRAM AND,
ALSO BELONG TO THE
COURSE TWO AT COLOMBO
AMERICANO.
3. The majority of the students are studying English with the willing to
learn a second language in order to continuo also their academical
processes, besides some of them need it to be promoted in their companies,
or some others are just studying English because they desire to travel all
over the world. Where English is mandatory to be learnt.
4. So, those students have arranged the schedule in the main
order morning classes or night shift, what means intensive
course that has ten hourse per week and the course 2 where
this blog takes part lasts one month. Even though Centro
Colombo Americano is a private language institution.
5. The purpose of the blog is to let the students
understand meaninful context, through topics
related to different aspects of a daily life such as
personal information, likes, routines, leisure
activities, places and travels.
6. And even how this source will help them to interctact meaninful with
other sort of tools such as videos, being this activity a complement of a
previous discussion in class or maybe to be informed about the task in
class, so all the activities are going to be linked using the post in the blog
as homeworks, then if the student has a listening activity in blog they will
find a questionnare which will work as a complement of the class, besides
reading in blog are useful to have a task in the face to face learning in
class.
7. This blog helps to share information about their
lifestyle and explore the way people from other
cultures spend their free time and use services
around their neighbohoods.
8. Students will describe situations related to what
they and other people enjoy doing in their free time
and places around them. They can interact with
others by getting familiar and experimenting with
the forms of the language ( grammar, vocabulary,
pronunciation).
9. Through this blog videos, songs, audiobooks, web
quest, puzzles and fun games are going to be
included in order to help their learning, and also
short stories where each student would practice
while they are improving vocabulary.
