Abstract The aim of this survey is to investigate whether the Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) emitted by various lab equipments affects the students. There is a standard threshold value recommended by WHO for both electric and magnetic fields. Electro-Magnetic Fields commonly known as Non Ionizing Radiation is emitted from high power transmission lines, computer monitor/video display unit, radio waves of different frequencies (extremely low frequency to microwaves), telecommunication, satellite, radar etc. which causes health hazards to living system and environment. The WHO/ International Agency for Research in Cancer (IARC) has classified radio frequency electromagnetic field as possibly carcinogenic to humans. There has been no such study performed in Bangladesh. The data were collected from various labs of department of pharmacy at Southeast University in Dhaka, Bangladesh. These labs are Pharmaceutical, Cosmetology and Biopharmaceutical Lab, Pharmacology Lab, Organic Pharmacy and Pharmacognosy Lab, Inorganic Pharmacy Lab and Microbiology Research Lab. Both threshold values of Electric and Magnetic fields were measured for various electronic equipments. Also the maximum value of the magnetic field results showed that in many cases the magnetic field radiated from the different sources are greater than the threshold limit which are the main point of our findings. As a result of the long time efforts of world scientist community WHO formed ICNIRP in 1969. Key Words: EMF, NIR, DNA, EMC, AML and ICNIRP

The Australian Animal Tracking and Monitoring System (AATAMS) is part of the Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS), a national, collaborative research infrastructure program. IMOS brings together universities and publicly funded research agencies working in marine and climate science with an over-arching principle of publicly available data. IMOS supports eleven research infrastructure facilities that generate data streams covering five strategic research themes, including climate variability and biological responses. AATAMS supports a national acoustic tracking and monitoring network covering a wide array of marine species in pelagic, coastal, and estuarine ecosystems. <br /> The AATAMS national database is a repository and data storage facility built through collaboration between the IMOS-AATAMS community with each project providing information on temporal and spatial movements of tagged species; together with sensor transmitters collected data can also provide insights into animal behaviour. Currently, the database incorporates 175 researchers from 34 organisations that have deployed receivers at over 2000 locations nationwide. More than 4000 individually identified animals have been tagged generating over 60 million tag detections. The collated information is accessed through a web application interface and through the IMOS Ocean Portal. The AATAMS database provides ready access to individual projects, tagged species, receiver locations, and spatial and temporal movements of marine species. The IMOS Ocean Portal connects this stream of information with those of the other research facilities so that the biological data can be related to a wide array of oceanographic data. <br /> This information builds the foundation for putting each acoustic telemetry project's research question into perspective, providing the tools in which the bigger picture of a species' biology and ecology as well as an ecosystem's function may be investigated. Applications are diverse, including monitoring of animal behaviour, migration patterns, predator-prey relationships, marine park monitoring, and long-term monitoring of climate change. This ocean observation platform will be pivotal in defining how aquatic management practices and policy decisions evolve.

Professors Franck Lebrin and Denis Vivien discuss in vivo molecular and functional imaging, including ultrasound-based markers, and their application to the study and treatment of neurological disorders such as cerebral hereditary angiopathies and stroke. Early vascular dysfunction is increasingly recognized as the underlying cause of many neurological diseases. The development of drugs targeting vascular damage at its earliest stages could therefore pave the road towards the treatment of neurological disorders. However, to be effective, this therapeutic approach will require the identification of early markers of vascular injury. In the first portion of the webinar, Prof. Lebrin discusses his research on ultrasound markers of early vascular dysfunction in cerebral hereditary angiopathies (CHA) and the testing of novel therapeutic agents that restore vascular function. Albeit rare, blood vessels from CHA exhibit the salient features of other neurological diseases and as such provide tractable preclinical models for research and defined patient groups for trials. Prof. Lebrin expects to identify early cerebrovascular markers that could ultimately be translated to the clinic for monitoring of disease progression and drug action. In the second portion of the webinar, Prof. Vivien presents current therapeutic approaches for ischemic stroke intended to restore cerebral blood flow (CBF) as quickly and efficiently as possible, including rtPA treatment (tissue type Plasminogen Activator) and endovascular thrombectomy (EVT). Prof. Vivien’s research aims to better understand the spatiotemporal evolution of specific functional and molecular events that occur during and following stroke, using a unique combination of in vivo high-resolution functional ultrafast ultrasound imaging (HR-fUS) and high-resolution molecular magnetic resonance imaging (HRmol-MRI). This project has led to the proposal of an innovative platform to test future therapeutics of ischemic stroke with a greater chance of successful translation to the clinic.

The presentation explores the development and application of artificial intelligence (AI) from its inception to its current status in the modern world. The term "artificial intelligence" was first coined by John McCarthy in 1956 to describe efforts to develop computer programs capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. This concept was first introduced at a conference held at Dartmouth College, where programs demonstrated capabilities such as playing chess, proving theorems, and interpreting texts. In the early stages, Alan Turing contributed to the field by defining intelligence as the ability of a being to respond to certain questions intelligently, proposing what is now known as the Turing Test to evaluate the presence of intelligent behavior in machines. As the decades progressed, AI evolved significantly. The 1980s focused on machine learning, teaching computers to learn from data, leading to the development of models that could improve their performance based on their experiences. The 1990s and 2000s saw further advances in algorithms and computational power, which allowed for more sophisticated data analysis techniques, including data mining. By the 2010s, the proliferation of big data and the refinement of deep learning techniques enabled AI to become mainstream. Notable milestones included the success of Google's AlphaGo and advancements in autonomous vehicles by companies like Tesla and Waymo. A major theme of the presentation is the application of generative AI, which has been used for tasks such as natural language text generation, translation, and question answering. Generative AI uses large datasets to train models that can then produce new, coherent pieces of text or other media. The presentation also discusses the ethical implications and the need for regulation in AI, highlighting issues such as privacy, bias, and the potential for misuse. These concerns have prompted calls for comprehensive regulations to ensure the safe and equitable use of AI technologies. Artificial intelligence has also played a significant role in healthcare, particularly highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic, where it was used in drug discovery, vaccine development, and analyzing the spread of the virus.
