remained unconscious and in critical condition at the Rawalpindi
Institute of Cardiology, but her condition later improved enough for her
to be transferred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham

WHY I CHOOSE THIS
NOVEL?
•Culture and arts always attract me. In this book
you will know about the culture.
•You will get knowledge about the problems they
are facing for education.
•In this book malala has described so buetifully
about her native place swat valley.
•This book tells that hoe much education is
important for everybody.
THEME OF THE NOVEL
• As many people would agree, the main theme of “I am Malala” is
standing up for what you believe is right even if you’re the only
one. Even though many people were against Malala’s thoughts
and she got rejected several times, she wouldn’t take no for an
answer. Although standing up for what she believed in resulted
in her getting shot by the Taliban, she survived and changed the
lives of millions of people around the world. By standing up for
what was right, Malala accomplished things she only dreamt of.
• She is a perfect example of the quote Ben Franklin once said, ”
You can do anything you set your mind to”. Just like many other
civilized leaders, Malala had a dream, and even with bumps
along the way, her passion and perseverance conquered and
she made her dreams a reality.
SUMMARY OF THE
NOVEL• She come from a country that was created at midnight. When I almost died it
was just after midday.
• When the Taliban took control of the Swat Valley in Pakistan, one girl spoke
out. Malala Yousafzai refused to be silenced and fought for her right to an
education.
• On Tuesday, October 9, 2012, when she was fifteen, she almost paid the
ultimate price. She was shot in the head at point-blank range while riding the
bus home from school, and few expected her to survive.
• Instead, Malala's miraculous recovery has taken her on an extraordinary
journey from a remote valley in northern Pakistan to the halls of the United
Nations in New York. At sixteen, she has become a global symbol of peaceful
protest and the youngest-ever Nobel Peace Prize laureate.
• I Am Malala is the remarkable tale of a family uprooted by global terrorism, of
the fight for girls' education, of a father who, himself a school owner,
championed and encouraged his daughter to write and attend school, and of
brave parents who have a fierce love for their daughter in a society that prizes
