Birds have feathers and wings. They lay
eggs and are warm blooded. Some
examples are the eagle, parrot, and
robin.

Reptiles have dry scaly skin. Most reptiles lay eggs. They are cold blooded.
Two examples of reptiles are the snake and the turtle.
6. Amphibians
Amphibians live on land and water. They use lungs and gills to
breath. They have webbed feet. They lay eggs and are cold blooded.
Frogs are examples of amphibians.
7. Fish
Fish live only in water. They use only gills to breath. They have
scales and fins. They lay many eggs and are cold blooded. The
goldfish is a favorite pet fish.
8. Insects
Insects have a hard body that
consists of three parts, the head,
thorax, and abdomen. They also
have six legs and two antennae.
They are cold blooded animals.
Butterflies and ants are examples of
insects.
