The entrepreneurial spirit is an attribute for the development of individual and society. More importantly, entrepreneurship development becomes a vehicle for transforming lives in underdeveloped regions. Community-centered entrepreneurship models have got much more relevance in positively contributing to community development. In this context, Bala Vikasa through Vikasa International Center is deploying its experiences and expertise among youth and women in promoting entrepreneurship in rural areas.

6. The PDTC was founded in 2002 as an anchor training center to
facilitate capacity building for program beneficiaries, community
leaders and change agents from local and international NGOs
wishing to learn best practices in 360° Community Driven
Development.

8. It will have a residential capacity of 200 and be able to host up to
600 training participants at any one time. A fully equipped, modern
Multimedia Unit will be set up to cater to the audio-visual production
needs of corporate clients and entrepreneurs to support their
development initiatives.
