Texas teachers assess how effectively they
integrate technology into the curriculum.
 Texas teachers has voluntarily used the Texas
STaR Chart since 2004 and became mandated
in 2006-2007 school year.
 Has been aligned with the Texas Long Range
Plan for Technology 2006-2020

since 2004 and was mandated in 2006
 The information from the chart supplies
administrators with information on how to
help his/her campus stay up to date with
Technology in the classroom

22.  Hastings High school findings indicate that
the campus has changed a lot over the years
 The area that has stayed most consistent of
the years is Key Area 4, Infrastructure for
Technology. This area has been classified as
Advanced Tech since 2005.
 The other areas classifications varies over the
years since 2005.

23.  Overall the STaR Chart
supplies very valuable
information to
administrators, princip

superintendents on
keeping their school
campuses and district
on track to meeting the
goals of the Texas
Long Range Plan for
