1. HEADPHONES : HOW DOES IT WORKS ?
A headphone Consists of Multiple Components Such as :
1. Diaphragm , 2. Magnet , 3. Voice Coil and 4. Wires
DIAPHRAGM :
If we open the enclosure of any headphone we will find a driver assembly. The part
which produces sound is the Diaphragm also known as Cone It is usually made up of
Plastic. The Diaphragm is vibrated more correctly pulled back and forth rapidly which
pushes air surrounding due to this disruption and displacement in air the Sound is
Produced.
OVERALL ASSEBBLY FUNCTIONING :
So varying Magnetic current of audio signal causes voice coil to move up & down
alongside of Magnetic housing due to It diaphragm is also moves back & forth
creating sound.
MAGNET & VOICE COIL :
If we Remove diaphragm we will find two components under it : 1. Magnet & 2. Voice
Coil
Voice Coil is a threaded copper wire coil attached to diaphragm , When we are playing
song on headphone we are outputting certain amount of current through the cable .
That current goes directly into voice coil & as a result it creates a electromagnetic field.
Diaphragm
