Priorities for future ICI NAMA projects I
• from planning to implementation – bringing NAMAs to
life (from design, via analysing the potentials to actual
implementation on the ground)
• follow complementing approaches on supporting concrete
NAMA design implementation: horizontally working
projects that help guiding the NAMA concept and support
its implementation with a NAMA tool box
• Strengthen knowledge sharing and communication to
support building a common understanding on the NAMA
concept and its benefits

4. 10.8.2012
Priorities for future ICI NAMA projects II
• Join forces of all relevant actors working in the field of
NAMA development to trigger and to speed up the
process of NAMA implementation
• Distil lessons from the practise of implementing NAMAs
for supporting international collaboration – e.g.
International Partnership on MRV and mitigation -
including when appropriate the negotiations
• Aim at setting best-practise benchmarks from the
practise of NAMA projects
