Doña Maria left Lucas after an argument about his business ideas and lifestyle choices. Lucas had brought farm animals home without discussing it with Maria first, hoping to start a ready meal business in their living room. When Maria angrily objected, citing concerns about greenhouse gas emissions, they had a heated row. As Maria was leaving, she ominously declared "Now I am going, but I will come back to make a killing". Lucas is now unsure and worried about her meaning, and determined to win Maria's heart back.

A romantic story, written by Laura, Noemie, Jan-Niklas & Lukas
“You are the culprit of the problems of my life”, said Doña Maria and then she
ran out of the house. All the efforts I devoted to the relationship didn´t pay off.
I did whatever it took, went the extra mile, but we are not along for the ride.
I think I am no longer her nugget. I would like to go back to the drawing board
and explain whathappened and why I wasn´tableto keep up with her
expectations. I think the hodgepodge of my interests in veggie ready meals and
wacky business models (venturecapital) werethe main reasons for her
rejection.
For example, one day I came back from my father´s farm in the Lüneburger
Heide with 3 cows, 2 rabbits, 10 chicken and a small goat and I was thinking
about using the free spacein our living roomfor my own livestock to eventually
produceready meals. I was going to generate a money-spinner of a business,
and it didn´tfaze me. I felt like a real modern-day alchemist, but Doña Maria
came back with an unprecedented anger and brokethe tedium.
Doña Maria said: “Lucas with a “C”, I know you want to scale up our income,
perfect our financial situation, to stay in the driving seat and to vie for Best
Food of Northern Lower Saxony. But in this day and age, you have to think
about the greenhousegas emissions. Itshould definitely give you food for
thought.”
We had a row and the sparks flew. While María was leaving the house, she
screamed “Now I am going, but I will come back to make a killing”.
But I am scared because I don´tknow what shemeant. Was it literal? Was it a
metaphor? It´s really mind-boggling!
The only thing I know is that I will do whatever it takes to conquer her heart
again.
