Nikolay speaks mainly about Jive. It’s a cross-platform UI based on AsWing, and explain to people where it comes from and go to.
The second part is about his opinions about UI librairies : why it’s important for a community. What features should it has. And making a small comparaison of HaxeUI, StablexUI and Jive.

The 4th International Haxe Conference WWX2014 organized by Silex Labs took place from 23th to 26th may 2014 in Paris.

1) The document discusses the TARDIS Go transpiler project which aims to allow Go code to run on Haxe cross-platform targets by translating Go to Haxe.
2) It describes how Go code is first converted to Single Static Assignment (SSA) form and then generated as new Haxe code with the same behavior.
3) Issues in translating between Go and Haxe are discussed such as different string handling and pointer emulation, as well as ideas for improving interoperability between the languages.

Haxe has allowed TiVo to move away from Flash and Adobe dependencies while reusing over 900,000 lines of existing ActionScript code. TiVo converted their large codebase to Haxe over the course of a year and now deploys to set-top boxes and other devices using Haxe backends like NME and OpenFL. This has improved performance and allowed multi-platform development. Challenges included IDE support issues and application requirements, but contributions from TiVo helped improve Haxe tools and libraries. Going forward, TiVo plans to deploy to more platforms using Haxe and continue optimizing the compiler and runtime.
