The Mobile Library at UCD: achievements and plans. Authors: Samantha Drennan,...UCD Library
The UCD Mobile Library has seen achievements in providing a mobile app, mobile catalog, and QR codes to access information. Plans are to continue developing mobile access as over 50% of web access is from handheld devices by 2012. The mobile website focuses on essential information like hours, contacts, and the catalog. Statistics show mobile use is trending upward, though challenges remain in display issues and determining user needs from analytics. Future work will further analyze statistics to improve the mobile experience.
This document provides guidance on designing and starting a webpage. It discusses page layout options including top menu bars and side bars. Content should be written in any genre, traditionally in the present tense, using both graphics and text equally. To start a webpage, first create an index page template that can then be copied for subsequent pages. Syntax rules from prior work and online sources should be followed, and regular saving is important.
The complexity of application testing in today's multiscreen environment calls for the use of the Responsive Web Design (RWD) fluidic-design methodology, which facilitates integration, regression, UI and performance testing.

If we were to re-score the last 30 seasons according to the “qualifying” format (using the 2010-2013 scoring system), we would see that in most seasons (18 out of 30), three or more drivers would compete for the championship title in the final race (as opposed to 3 out of 30 with a current championship format).
Moreover, the competition for the Championship would begin anew several times each season. This would make the races even more exciting for fans—and this, in turn, would be a beneficial move for F1 as a sport and business.

The document summarizes support and resources provided by the University of Huddersfield for researchers. It includes dedicated web pages, training sessions on tools like EndNote and Summon, a repository to store research outputs, and purchasing of resources to support research. Feedback from training sessions indicated some could be longer to allow more hands-on practice. The university also hosts a research festival and portal, provides IT support, and facilitates networking through a convivium. The goal is to offer "appropriate provision" for the research community.
This document is a thesis submitted by Soo Jung Ryu to Victoria University of Wellington for the degree of Master of Architecture. The thesis explores solutions for Victoria University's School of Architecture and Design (SoAD) to reduce its reliance on carbon offsets and become truly carbon neutral by minimizing emissions from energy, transport, and waste. It establishes reduction targets of 25%, 50%, and 90% and evaluates both behavioral changes and technological investments to meet these targets. The findings show 25% reductions can be achieved through low-cost behavioral changes, 50% through a mix of low-and high-cost measures, and 90% would require considerable investment in new technologies or drastic reductions in usage. The aim is to translate emissions savings into other metrics
