Les objectifs de ce suivi consistent à mesurer la fonctionnalité des ouvrages en tant qu'ouvrages de transparence pour les amphibiens en évaluant la richesse spécifique (nombre d'espèces) et intra-spécifique (nombre d'individus) au niveau des ouvrages, et de mettre en évidence d’éventuels flux de migration pour les amphibiens.
Les hypothèses de travail sont les suivantes :
- les passages petites faunes prévus tout au long de la ligne permettront la traversée des individus de part et d'autre de la ligne
- les ouvrages permettront de préserver des axes de migration (potentiels) transversaux à la ligne.
Afin de répondre aux objectifs fixés en 2017, un nouveau suivi par caméra a été testé en parallèle du protocole spécifique qui avait été élaboré et mis en place à l'échelle des 4 départements impactés par la ligne SEA en Poitou-Charentes en 2016.
