The document discusses dual names in PLB demonstration. PLB allows components to have both a long name and a short name. The long name provides more descriptive information, while the short name is used for brevity in diagrams and other contexts where space is limited. Components can be referenced by either their long name or short name in PLB.
This document outlines a project management framework for the GIS Office to standardize their processes. It discusses implementing structured methodologies to deliver projects on time, on budget, and meeting specifications. The framework is based on PRINCE2 principles and software development methodologies. It defines four project phases: initiation, planning, implementation, and handover. The framework provides templates and guidelines for documentation, roles, scope, scheduling, and other key elements to improve efficiency, quality, and client relationships.
A princess went on an adventure disguised as a peasant girl and ended up in a village. She was hungry and thirsty, so she took milk and bread from a boy's house without permission. The villagers saw her and accused her of being a thief. When they did not believe she was the princess, the juggler who recognized her taught her to throw and catch apples to prove who she was. This convinced the villagers, and they helped return her to the palace in a cart.
This document summarizes the results of a smartphone security assessment survey with 116 respondents. It includes 9 multiple choice questions about respondents' smartphone usage habits and security practices, such as whether they use a screen lock, what type of screen lock they use, which security apps they have installed, and how frequently they update apps and software. The survey also asked questions to understand respondents' awareness of the data they share with apps and their willingness to provide certain types of personal data to apps.
Basic Principles of Teaching and Educational Technology (4, 5, 6)Patrickpaulmanalansan
The document outlines three principles of teaching and education technology: the principle of intention, which states that learning requires purposeful intent; the principle of creativity and innovation, which involves producing original ideas and expressions; and the principle of discovery, referring to the "AHA!" moment of self-guided learning. Students are asked to connect these three principles through a scenario and choose one of three words to explain their relationship through acronym.
CAI can be used effectively for drill and practice activities to reinforce learning through repetition of basic skills and knowledge. It works best for topics like vocabulary, math facts, and sciences. Drill and practice software provides immediate feedback on answers and performance summaries. While drill and practice are useful for 20-30 minutes, CAI should also incorporate tutorial software to teach new content beyond exercises. Tutorial software provides comprehensive information and allows teachers to ask follow-up questions to stimulate deeper learning. CAI can positively impact learning when used for remediation, review, enrichment, and cooperative group activities.
