Jardins, jardin est l’événement national dédié aux tendances du jardin en ville et du design
d’extérieur. Chaque année, Jardins, Jardin s’installe au coeur de Paris dans le jardin royal historique des Tuileries créé par le Nôtre.
Jardins, Jardin croît et se ramifie depuis 8 ans et chaque année jardins éphémères, mobilier, design, végétaux, objets et outils s’épanouissent, toujours plus nombreux et plus innovants. Jardins, Jardin est LA manifestation dédiée à l’art des jardins urbains.
Qu’est-ce que le mouvement Maker dit de notre époque ?
Une détestation de « l’Ikeasition » du monde, une volonté de dé-consommer, un épanouissement à faire de ses mains, à (re)trouver des sensations et des émotions, une envie de créer collectivement ?
À la croisée d’influences très diverses, de la culture libertaire à l’écologie politique, les Makers ont quitté le terrain de l’utopie pour repenser notre façon d’interagir, de partager, de produire et de consommer. Prenant de plus en plus d’ampleur – on estime aujourd’hui le nombre de Makers à 11 millions de personnes, sans compter les 26% de français qui déclarent avoir conçu, fabriqué, transformé ou customisé des objets au cours des 12 derniers mois1 –, ce mouvement devenu à la fois un engagement et une philosophie de vie propage une nouvelle culture mainstream. La nouvelle émission « L’Atelier » en atteste. Adaptée du format « The Repair Shop », des Français se rendent dans un atelier avec un objet endommagé voire cassé, afin que des artisans lui redonnent une seconde vie. Valorisation des métiers de l’artisanat, transmission des gestes et amour du faire soi-même, tout y est.

Faced with a never-ending series of environmental, sanitary, geopolitical and political events and crises that cloud the future in uncertainty, now more than ever we aspire to peace and calm.
