New Brunswick Non Profit Housing Association - L'Association de logement sans-but lucratif du Nouveau Brunswick

Prestige Homes was approached by a non-profit housing group to construct 24 affordable rental units in Sussex, NB. While initial meetings with council were positive, opposition from the community arose during the rezoning and planning process. Prestige Homes worked hard over 12 months to address concerns, provide facts about the project, and gain approval, with construction now underway. Lessons learned include having a good plan, being prepared to work hard, using networks, and spreading facts to replace myths.
